Fruit, leaves and root are applied externally to scabies, psoriasis and other skin diseases. Seeds of the furits are reported to be useful in the treatment of kidney stone. The roots are considered to be tonic and the bark of the tree is used as astringent and it is given internally as an alterative. The plant is also used to cure rheumatic swellings and malaria. |
